I love that Die With a Smile has seemingly become the biggest global hit ever, but what a boring state of affairs (as a chart watcher) we have the same streaming #1 as 200 days ago.

it's kind of a freak period where nothing new is breaking through. Birds of a Feather (354 days) still #3, Apt (200 days) #4, That's so True (200 days) #6...

I'm not sure what big artists are releasing soon but hopefully in a month or so some new stuff will shake things up.
 
Oh I’m sure Morgan Wallon will shake things up (at least in the US) in a couple weeks with his forty track album :zombie:

Harry Styles is supposed to be around the corner. Lorde’s debut was promising but is falling pretty quickly now. Not sure what else is on the horizon to shake things up.

We were blessed with a flood of new stuff from our main pop girls last year.
 
I can't think of anything I'd less like to listen to than a 40 track Morgan Wallen record

I saw a great audience cam of Abracadabra where she was serving insane vocals with the handheld mic and no backing track. even without full choreo or a wild audience her energy has translated really well to this random pared back show for YouTube.
 
I took a break from this for a couple of days (apart from Disease). anyway Perfect Celebrity is still that bitch. what a song. the snarling anger of it. the massive shiny hooks. 10/10

the album sounds so good going into summer... but I would love another single
 
I haven’t listened to the album except those first two times when it came out :D

It's blatantly obvious they are going with HBDYWM. It's where the momentum is on streams, and given that the album is starting to slip a bit now(albeit still charting in most places), I would argue now would be the time - just do it for christ sake.
 
Vanish Into You has overtaken it on daily streams since Rio and may be about to surpass it on overall streams too. so I wouldn't be 100% sure

Why not just put out videos for both?
