This is a good non-stop listen except for that Chromatica II transition. I’ve often rewound there just to listen again, or like today I demanded to listen to it at a more suitably gay strut moment

I LOVE 911 and that transition is everything, but it always sounds like it belongs on Artpop to me. Not a bad thing though.

Rumours are abound that the label are pushing for Sour Candy as third single, but only if they can shoot a video with BlackPink. Alice or 911 are the other options ALLEGEDLY.

I think 911 would be the best choice by far now. It's SO CATCHY, and has a veneer of cool whilst still being fun. Alice is a bit TOO GAY and weird.
 
Sour Candy will tank the moment the Blackpink fans get bored of it. "Swish Swish but make it shit" is something that has no widespread appeal whatsoever.
 
It absolutely is not. Like, just objectively, it barely even functions as a song. It's two unrelated parts forming an undercooked sketch of an interlude and no radio station in the US will touch it with a bargepole.

Swish Swish goes OFF in a way this flat ol' pancake could only dream of.
 
I'm sorry but the bizarre lyrics and Gaga's 'Microsoft voice' are everything.

Swish Swish is good, but Katy Perry was so the wrong choice for that song. It's just her trying to be #TeamBadBitch
 
Sour Candy is clearly going to be the 3rd single. it already has 110m streams while the second most streamed track is 911 with around 19m. it would be stupid to go with anything else. maybe she should slap MIGOS on it and add a good minute to secure a hit.

the song is utter shite anyway it couldn't get worse.

Chromatica slips 1-2 in the US this week - 64,000 album unit equivalents (not sure about pure sales yet). This is a 77% drop from the first week.
 
Why do people still use the word “objectively” when they’re talking about their music opinions? It just makes people sound like narrow minded nobheads
