I assume she just doesn't know how to do lockdown promotion. A throwaway lyric video and single wouldn't go amiss. Rain On Me is still riding quite high in the US charts though no?

She's still got the Chromatica tour NEXT SUMMER... maybe it's intentional to spread things out a bit with promotion as she needs to do almost an entire year before we get there.

Yeah, I raise an eyebrow every time I see artists reschedule tour dates for spring/summer 2021. Not a hope!

Her eyes are totally glazed over throughout the Rain On Me video and also in the unretouched Haus Labs make-up pics. Which is not usually a good sign.

I just don't understand the logic of releasing the album this year if she's unwilling or unable to promote. A great pop record with loads of potential being squandered like this is such a waste.
