Yes perhaps that’s the worry. Historically she has been much more enthusiastic about past albums, released album trailers, she posted about 90 snippets of NFR before it came out etc. she seems much more tentative and unengaged with this album. Perhaps the backlash from her “question for the culture” posts in May contributed to this, I don’t know, but it is concerning.I know she's prolific, but is there a chance this album is just a bunch of stuff that didn't make it onto Norman? It all just feels TOO SOON, and I'm getting Sweet Escape vibes![]()
Uh oh she says this is (one of) her favorites on the album. SOUND THE ALARM
well it's rarely a good omen when an artist announces their next album just as promo of the current one begins, and the song itself hardly dispels the notion that this is just gonna be a SIDE B affair.I know she's prolific, but is there a chance this album is just a bunch of stuff that didn't make it onto Norman? Tbh she did the same thing for honeymoon IIRC and that was a serve. The song is nice enough, but it is way too safe and a retread of the weaker moments on NFR. I think we can also blame Antonoff for that.well it's rarely a good omen when an artist announces their next album just as promo of the current one begins, and the song itself hardly dispels the notion that this is just gonna be a SIDE B affair.
