Time for a new thread as Lana confirmed the new album (still apparently entitled Norman Fucking Rockwell) will be out August 2019. She shot a "double video" for two new songs "Fuck it I Love You" and "The Greatest".

I'm SO happy it contains both Doin' Time and Next Best American Record. And at the same time knowing that Hope Is... is the last song has me slightly worried that the sequencing of the songs won't make it feel like an event. We'll see.

Venice Beach is one of my all time favourite Lana songs but it's pretty long to be track 3. Not complaining though!

I haven’t warmed to “Hope is...” so hesitant it is the closer, but will try again. “Next Best American Record” is amaze so glad it found a home on here and maybe it got a makeover from demo form, though it doesn’t need one.

I also love the cover. based off names alone , I’m most excited for “how to disappear”

I mean, Groupie Love is nothing like God Bless America, which is nothing like Lust For Life... there was a lot of variety by her standards on that album, not necessarily tempo but vibe/sonic palette. Whereas on this one Doin' Time sounds like a major misnomer.

I can't quite imagine Lana at the O2 - what are her shows like? I think an obscure European venue (my venue DU CHOIX) would be preferable if I bothered going to live gigs these days.

This looks essential, I will give it a watch. A tiny theatre or an open air festival is a world away from the O2 though. Only Wembley Arena beats that as my least favourite venue.
