there's so much gorgeousness on this album but I think Love Song is really PEAK beauty. it's so elegant, so full of longing - hopeless and hopeful all at once.

I would echo the sentiment that the midsection is the best but look at the beginning! And yet I do think the next 5 songs are the best part

Love Song is not one of my favourites because some of the other songs are so good, but it is really lovely
 
Apparently she was ANGRY ANGRY when she came into record it per Jack.
 
that line "if you hold me without hurting me, you'll be the first who ever did" is such great songwriting.

Cinnamon Girl is so quietly spectacular. it definitely takes me back to Born to Die (and also 13 Beaches) a bit in terms of the more cinematic instrumentation with the rarely heard electronic elements bubbling away underneath. some of Jack Antonoff's production on this album is so textured and rich.

Cinnamon Girl was my fave on first listen but as others have grown it isn't quite up there now. I think the lyrics are great but I just don't find the melodies as strong as some of the others

And yes I know I just called the next 5 songs the best part, but I more meant California-The Greatest really
