Moving right along to the top 20! We lose one of my favorites but the rest seem appropriately timed. "Shades of Cool" is still one of the most unique songs in her catalog and her live renditions of it always stop me dead in my tracks. It's kind of an Alice in Wonderland meets Lana Del Rey masterpiece.

To think this is the same vocalist that gave us the SNL perf two years earlier...

35. "Don't Call Me Angel"
34. "Freak"

WE SAVED MARINERS!

I'd rather have seen National Anthem go before Dark Paradise. the latter has aged quite well, but I don't revisit the former at all these days.

Fuck It is a bop but it's time.

Honeymoon though? I actually had no idea she was a single/instant grat/whatever. Lana's single choices are so irrelevant, I can't think of another artists whose singles are so rarely the best songs on her albums.

She's an album's artist through and through but when the quality is so good all around it doesn't really matter does it. I believe the DEEP CUT round is next. :o

God I fucking love "White Dress" though.

Summer, sizzling
Listening to jazz out on the lawn
Listening to White Stripes when they were white hot
Listening to rock, all day long...

White Dress is a lovely vibe but I don't believe it's the best song. I like a little more meat on her melodies.
