confirmed on her instagram. I’m assuming Stove is DEAD

Anyway starting a new thread because of the trauma inflicted from the last 3 aborted projects . We have a firm date and title now direct from source that’s 2 weeks away.

Written with Jack Antonoff, Chuck Grant, Jason Pickens, and Jeremy Dufrene

Production by Lana, Jack Antonoff, & Drew Erickson

Strings by Drew Erickson

album comes "soon", "because vinyl takes 3 months" she says, which suggests it’s done.

OK the credits are very promising. the title is absurd. can't wait :disco:

It really is lather rinse repeat as a Lana fan isn't it? Wait months/years while albums are delayed and cancelled, pull a :doublechin:face when the album title is finally revealed, end up loving it and ranking it up there with her best.

See also: Norman Fucking Rockwell, Chemtrails Over the Country Club, Blue Banisters and Did You Know There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd?

we'll all be guzzling from her generous tit again in ten days, let us get through the other phase first

She’s been announcing and scrapping and redoing albums since Ultraviolence beb!

I feel like HONEYMOON was a seamless record and release period. That's probably the ONLY one though :disco: (and to be fair, the shittest. It's obviously her PROCESS!)

that run from UV to Norman was insane. truly the reason she's a legend now and forever.

I low key love her/love to hate her, but I can’t remember which of her songs are on which album outside of Born to Die and NFR. And that’s me speaking my truth

I appreciate Born To Die for the iconic album that it is but it’s hard to go back to given what she’s done since. She’s grown so much as a songwriter and vocalist since then to the point that it does sound a bit amateurish.

It’s obviously a triumph of an album though, and I rank Chemtrails and Blue Banisters below it because they get a bit samey with that piano. I mean Blue Banisters is basically a collection of demos, some of which sound like actual YouTube rips :D

They all have SOMETHING to commend about them though and her quality is high. I'm just not really in a Lana mood right now but that's partly due to the recent underwhelming singles and marriage.

Her low-energy stadium shows cheesed off a lot of people too. Funny if you're watching a clip on Instagram, not if you've paid 3 figures to see her.

Part of the problem is that she’s given us more or less the same set list since 2016. She should have reinvented it a bit for the larger venues and made it longer than an hour fifteen.

An hour fifteen? Is that all she did? Ouch, no wonder people were annoyed.

This was the set list. I imagine I’d have hate flowing through my veins to go and find out it’s 15 songs (excluding the video screen interludes) and 6-7 of them are the unreleased country tracks.

So I guess she revamped the old set list she was flogging for years but this was not it :zombie:

Christ alive, that looks SHIT. :D

Thank GOD I was able to see her literally MONTHS before she started fiddling around with the setlist; I would have been feral if she came up with that horror from above.

The encore is nice actually but what is that first section
