I appreciate Born To Die for the iconic album that it is but it’s hard to go back to given what she’s done since. She’s grown so much as a songwriter and vocalist since then to the point that it does sound a bit amateurish.

It’s obviously a triumph of an album though, and I rank Chemtrails and Blue Banisters below it because they get a bit samey with that piano. I mean Blue Banisters is basically a collection of demos, some of which sound like actual YouTube rips

They all have SOMETHING to commend about them though and her quality is high. I'm just not really in a Lana mood right now but that's partly due to the recent underwhelming singles and marriage.

Part of the problem is that she’s given us more or less the same set list since 2016. She should have reinvented it a bit for the larger venues and made it longer than an hour fifteen.
