Alan barely able to contain himself asking Romesh "Would you like to take the sausage?" is one that will maintain me on the darkest days.

I’ve only seen one episode as we’re watching this as a group over the weekend, but so far very impressed with Alan Carr - really thought he would be on the defence the whole time but he’s dishing it out as much as taking it, even though he has clearly been targeted by a couple of them as a a weak link, and so far it hasn’t worked!

Watched the first couple, brilliant, such a simple format but such a great payoff.

Alan Carr is funniest when he's not playing at being the over-the-top version of Alan Carr, I thought he'd be out straight away but he was holding his own so far.

Diane Morgan is my favourite contestant in this!

I hope this show runs and runs (although I'm not sure I could bear to watch if Rosie Jones and Josh Widdecombe were in there!)

What's wrong with Rosie Jones?

Episode 5 was glorious. As good as TV gets. Bob and Sam's jokers, Ellie and Natasia, into Mel's hairy biscuits and even Jimmy at the gloryhole were sensational.

I'd been loving the series before this, albeit not quite as much as s1. I'm surprised David didn't get carded for his faces during Bob's joker. They looked like smiles to me.

I also found it funny when Jimmy said "you've probably noticed Gbemi's no longer here" because we literally hadn't. Go girl give us nothing (and get paid handsomely for it :disco:)

Sam Campbell is the MVP for me. What a curious and beguiling man. His exhange with Richard Madeley was a series highlight.

I mean Gbemi did give us that demonic laugh so she was worth it just for that. Those tears from holding in the laugh were everything

Same as the tears from Maisie :D

Agree on Sam. What an enigma. And also yes David definitely smiled during the joker

V true, the tears were amazing.

Another series highlight was Alan Carr's "HELLO CHEEKY CHOPS, D'YA WANT TO TALK ABOUT LEPROSY?" impression of a chugger (or chunt)

I especially enjoyed his FUCK OFF as Bob came on stage.

I know he's often stated by basics as the King of British comedy, but it cannot be understated. Thank God he's solo these days.

David Mitchell has also been fantastic. It's easy to forget how naturally funny he is.

I did enjoy "My Wife's Printer - The David Mitchell Story"

Do we get ratings for Amazon @lolly? This has to be their biggest show to date. Everyone is talking about it.

Yes, Amazon reports to BARB, so assuming it's in the top 50 shows, we'll know.

For comparison, season 1 episode 1 had 2.976m after 7 days last year, going up to 6.227m after 28 days. Presumably this one will be much bigger straight away.

From a quick look back, the highest figure I can see for Amazon Prime is Clarkson's Farm ( :gross: ) last May - 4.567m after 7 days, 7.534m after 28 days.

Davids bad standup was amazing, I’d go to see that

Not sure if we need a S3 topic, I suspect a rolling Taskmaster-esque one would work. But S3 cast has been announced.

Title amended, I think they'll keep churning these out while they do well, not exactly hard to produce is it!

S3 cast looks superb, I can see Lee Mack doing well and Jon Richardson winning it.
