I'm only starting this thread for continuity.

I’m off to see Miriam Margolyes this evening and it’s all a bit grin and bear it as Mr Sheena insists on going as I bought it as Christmas present but his Mum is basically in hospital about to die at any minute, so HAPPY DAYS.

We were meant to go and see her in Cardiff about three or four weeks ago, but it's been rescheduled to next June or July, due to worries the building may be made out of concrete made out of wafers, or whatever it is.

Her new book is available on Spotify anyway. Exactly what you'd expect.

Oh no, sorry to hear that :(

Well Miriam was fun and JUST THE TONIC actually. He perked up for a bit, which was nice.

Lots of cunting no doubt.

I love her and I mostly enjoyed the last audiobook, but it does feel rather contrived to shock nowadays. And I always think if you covered the whole of your life in your first book and it isn’t a chronological sequel, then it’s basically made up.
