LeeAnn’s first single from her first adult (slutty) album.

It always made me laugh that the video and imagery for this single were incredibly sexed up (because, you know, adult = slutty), whilst the song itself...was not.

Anyway this bop gave me LIFE back as an emerging gay in Year 11.

Nothing like a languid, topless stroll through the cemetery to tickle a boy's fancy.

I thought this was just tremendous as a teenager. Actually, listening now for perhaps the first time in more than a decade, nothing's changed!

Also the return to country, damage control follow-up to this "Probably Wouldn't Be This Way" is one of my favourite songs ever.

You ought to see the way these people look at me
When they see me 'round here talking to this stone
Everybody thinks I've lost my mind
But I just take it day by day...

Sometimes I see you standing there
Sometimes it's like I'm losing touch
Sometimes I feel that I'm so lucky to have had the chance to love this much...

‘Twisted Angel’ was a great album.

Totally see why she wanted to do it at that point, even if it spoiler her country market appeal.
