This seems to be the cover...

That's a great debut solo album title, although for someone in the Geru/Nadine/Scherzinger mould and not Leigh Anne.

That title and cover are, well, not exactly screaming Leigh-Anne based on what she’s released so far and the persona she portrays. This is like a 180.

I really find tongues quite unappealing.

I also hate it when you have to watch people brushing their teeth and spitting on films. I really don't need to see it

that is not the visual I expected to see upon opening this thread

it's giving label-mandated pivot (she's not independent right?) but I'm quite curious to hear the music. hopefully it's screamo punk :disco:

She left Warner after the No Hard Feelings EP. Spotify says her new stuff is distributed by Virgin but I think technically she is independent.

It's Saffron from Republica in 2025! I really hope the music is of the same ilk. Shouty try-hard poor-mans-Garbage PLEASE THANK YOU :disco:

The cover is reminding me of this in terms of colour palette

She’s released more good songs than Perrie and Jesy so she only just (still miles) behind Jade

We’re going high concept for the visuals guys

quite low down on NMF, i know she's independent but would like her to make a few waves bless her

Yeah she’s below Mel C, so really shows the uphill battle she has. But song isn’t bad.

Does she have enough of a public image/consciousness to do a Geri Look At Me type assault on her "past self"?

So she’s reinvented herself… as Rihanna in 2014. Ok, got it.

Perrie reinvented herself as Kelly Clarkson in 2009, Jade reinvented herself as Charli xcx before straights discovered her, and Jesy reinvented herself as Aretha Franklin in 1972. Let the poor girls find themselves.

And let me sarcastic and derivative, it’s the MOOPY WAY

(I wish her all the best xx)

Mel C has just re-invented herself as Rosemary Conley, it must be in the sweaty air

It IS very Rihanna, but it's also better than anything Jesy and Peru have pushed out, so there's that.

None of the songs pique my interest. Pleasant, but not very memorable. I do agree that it sounds kinda dated.

Although, I do commend her for sampling what is arguably the best "work" song ever:

Who is able to access the full interview? It would make for an interesting read.
