Snow up on the hills around here apparently, though more drizzle and slight sleet (try saying that after a Bailey's) in these parts.

I've popped the Christmas tree lights on in the office and have a fake festive fire on YouTube crackling away. Feels rather nice!

Winter Hill was white this morning for the first time this winter. It's tried to snow and the wind is like razorblades. Hopefully tonight will be the first call of "GRITTER!".

I'm debating going to Helsinki last minute for a conference on Sunday and I'm not sure whether to or not. I quite fancy getting the ferry across from Tallinn...

I've just noticed it's MINUS ONE here tonight.

WHEN DID WINTER ACTUALLY OCCUR?

We had a lot of sleet very early, but dry by the time i left for work. And cold and sunny now. Quite lovely, in fact.

The hills around Manchester were looking quite white this morning, nothing down here in the urban sprawl yet though.

I'm going to Prague in a couple of weeks and the forecast looks like snow for a week or so until we get there which would be nice. Providing it doesn't actually ruin the business part of the trip.

Icy snow here. I need to look out my plastic spade as getting it off the car roof at 7am wasn't fun for my freezing hands with the normal scraper. Love pink snow.

Disgustingly cold here too. Having a pretty pleasant day teaching.

I've made them all work in silence, while I play Sporcle.

Went for a run this morning in gloves, base layer, hat, hi vis and tights

Hello winter 😩

We've managed to add on 2 weeks in Bali to our Australia and NZ trip. If I don't come back tanned I'll be very sad.

How on EARTH do you two claim to pay yourselves minimum wage? :D
I can show you my wageslip if you like 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's not hard to afford holidays if you don't spend much the rest of the year.

Bare in mind, my total monthly outgoings are £625 a month. Including groceries. So technically that means I should have £650 a month spare.

I've just had a can of Irn Bru Winter Bru and it's AMAZING

Must remember to buy another on the way home later, as I'm sure it'll be even better with a double gin in it.

Can't park there mate is the only explanation I have

I wonder if the tipped car was parked half on, half off the pavement. Peugeot has reversed towards it and has a towbar, towbar has become stuck under side of tipped car but Peugeot then cannot go forwards because of the towbar being stuck so has tried reversing and it's just lifted the tipped car (very strong towbar obvs) then as tipped car falls backwards it pulls the back end of Peugeot with it.

Bought a Christmas tree, went to Waitrose and stocked up on some Christmas snackage, including lots of free shit in their new app, the cold is making me feel (prematurely) festive and I’m rather pleased about it.
