Hi!

What a horrible day so I have decided to cancel all plans and stay warm and dry at home. What are we all up to on this DREADFUL Saturday?

Clicking Christina Aguilera GIF

Just ordered a luxury blanket from Costco. Called the husband a hefty stomper. Now I think I’ll binge watch Crystal Lake.

I didn't leave the house yesterday, so cabin fever has set in, and I decided to set out. Managed to have a look in a book shop, and now sitting in my favourite Greek cafe eating orange cake and watching people run last in the downpour outside.

I've folded Mount Washmore (the permanent clean washing pile on the spare armchair in the living room), done some kitchen tidying and cleaning, sorted Mr F's medication cupboard into date order, doing more washing and drying to build a new Mount Washmore, keep checking the kitchen hoping the roof repair holds and dealing with a constantly dripping nose because of this weird cold I have.

I love being inside the nice warm house listening to the absolute shite weather happening outside.

Mr F's brother is visiting tomorrow with his family. Oh joy.

I managed to do Parkrun at least
Spending the rest of the day watching YouTube running and triathlon videos with snacks and tea

Walked into the kitchen, small puddle next to the back door. Thankfully it's the door-seal and not the roof leaking, so I've put some plastic up to guide the drips down into a tub and it's all good. Once the rain stops I'll sort the seal out and repair it.

Ordering a chinese delivery now and looking forward to an extra hour in bed.

Think I've got a mild case of this AMERICAN covid. I've had brain fog all week and was so tired yesterday I had an afternoon nap, which I rarely do. Sofa naps only happen for me if I've been on it the night before and had no sleep at all.
