Let's have a DIANE ABBOTT festival

She put her own stamp on it, and made it her own.

She's on Come Dine With Me tonight!

I can't remember the entire line-up, but she's definitely on with Danielle Lloyd the forgotten BB racist, and i think Terry Christian. Though when tuning into any celebrity special i just assume that HE'LL pop up, and i'm usually RIGHT

Oh Wayne Sleep is the other one. A-LIST

SHADOW health minister Diane Abbott got her Celebrity Come Dine With Me guests sozzled so they couldn't taste her cooking.

Diane, 57, served up a SIX-LITRE jug of rum punch to her diners - telly presenter Terry Christian, dancer Wayne Sleep and glamour model Danielle Lloyd.

The Labour MP for Hackney North said: "I don't have any strengths in the kitchen.

"So I give people a lot to drink in the hope that by the time they sit down they will be sozzled and won't notice the food."

After the punch she dished out Champagne and wine during dinner in tonight's episode on Channel 4 at 9pm.

Terry, 48, said afterwards: "She got us so drunk I could have eaten a Pot Noodle.

"She kept saying: 'What will this do to my career.' I thought: 'What career?'

Oh God the faux-offended right wing circle jerk today was SO frustrating. She clearly wasn't being racist in the slightest.

She was very silly to say what she did in the manner she did, but she apologised quickly and clarified what she had meant. All the moaning about it looked like a textbook example of white privilege to me, and there aren't many things I find grosser than that :zombie:

It was particularly PATHETIC coming the day after the Stephen Lawrence thing.

OMG REVERSE RACISM.

To be fair it's SUNK as a story as fast as it appeared... I don't know WHO WAS OFFENDED REALLY?

Anyone actually offended by it is a SUPREME RETARD

Daily Mail readers THEN

I've not seen much of the fallout so can't comment on that, but i was a fair bit disappointed in the old bird (and oddly a BIT OFFENDED with it). It is a really off thing to say.

I know what she meant. She was talking about the superpowers of the 19th century practising colonialism, which she did indeed clarify this later.

I did always like this RIPOSTE to WEETABIX NEIL though:

"It is inconsistent, to put it mildly, for someone who believes in a fairer and more egalitarian society to send their child to a fee-paying school. I had to choose between my reputation as a politician and my son. You can't defend the indefensible - anything you say sounds self-serving and hypocritical."

AR: Apparently a BIG ABBA FAN (according to a friend who once made sweet disco love to her son) :disco:

She might have a problem with Finnish nurses, but she loves a Danish.

WEIRDLY, I've noticed recently, our DI has a column in the Jamaican Observer newspaper, writing lots of stuff about Jamaican athletics and its drug problem...

On C4 news now, looking like... I have no words. It's a silvery ensemble.

I think I would genuinely prefer Boris Johnson as a mayor.
