I'm a much less competent musician than I used to be which is sheer lack of practice. I probably peaked about 2007/8 when I'd just bought a decent bass and was heading to the piano rooms at the Mitchell Library regularly. Now all I really do is make odd noises. But that's pretty much all my head wants me to do. I'm still a decent bassist because I learned a bit about harmony at school.

Sit down. In all seriousness, it just felt more natural. Because I don't drink any more, I don't miss being able to piss in bushes, against fences etc. Not that I did that regularly but it did come in handy once or twice. Mainly in Aberdeen but it's standard practice there.

Ambivalent.

I don't experience much in the way of attraction but I have found over the years that someone's gender makes little or no difference to me.

It would be Kelly Moran but there's the small matter of my not owning a grand piano....so Anna Calvi because her songs would suit the "living room" environment and yes, it would be super awkward because I wouldn't invite anyone.

The former. We had one in my old house. It was my mum's and it was actually pretty nice. The chimes went weird after a while but I failed to get a decent recording of it, such was the poor quality of my equipment at the time.

Black. I struggle with colours and always end up using them once and then throwing them out when they go all funny. Very dark purples and blues are good too.

None of the albums have really cohered for me as full end-to-end things but maybe they're not meant to, I;m not sure. My head enjoyed "Red" the most, my heart "1989".
