Lily Allen - West End Girl

I am wondering what they have planned for the new year apart from the tour. She's not done one UK radio or TV appearance. Just the Miss Me podcast last week. On which she said she'd filmed a music 'video' rather than the visualisers we have seen so far. Be interesting to see what is sent to radio next and if she'll even bother with mainstream UK promo. I had a feeling she'd choose Jools Holland NYE or something like that, but nada.
 
I assume the music video will be released to coincide with the physical release at the beginning of February. Hopefully there'll be some promo then too

very jealous of anyone with tickets for this tour, especially the intimate venues.
 
I want another PROPER single sent to radio for Spring to last up to the tour. I am thinking BEG FOR ME or nonmonogamummy - i think they would be clever to launch something that hasn't been top of her streaming lists and sounds current for R1.

Then a huge performance of Pussy Palace at the Brits (after 9pm) - she doesn't have to do anything more than those two things and the tour #thetouristhepromo

I honestly though there would be some promo this week ?
I mean has she even sold out NANTWICH ?
 
10.8k so far with most physicals presumably shipped already - Olivia Dean is 5k behind but would probably overtake before Friday, I'd guess
 
She did a physical release party type thing and has also graced the cover of ELLE UK. thats the promo. She's refusing to do The One Show even though it would probably mean a #1 albam. She's said if they bring POPWORLD back with noted best friend Miquita Oliver she'd consider doing that, as a favour.

Yes, she did say on the podcast that she had filmed a video. But I am now thinking if she was just alluding to the Visualisers. It would probably make more sense to just have a Brit Award perf on YouTube to do its thing.

The Molotovs are very close behind at #2 at the moment but they won't have much by way of streaming.
 
love the shoot. I really want a music video. she has shot one so I hope we're gonna see it soon. this week would have made sense - otherwise, holding it back for the BRITs?
 
Will the physical release mean re charting in America too?

GOOD. it deserves a better peak than 91 or whatever it climbed to in the second week.
 
shame she didn't nab the number one but good to see it back at #2. I hope it darts back up a few times this year. I think it could happen around The Brits and The Mercury Prize if she's nominated/does that. There's no Glasto this year either is there, but if she does a televised festival she should be going back up too :disco:
