I believe her last album only charted one song on UK Spotify. It’s doing well on UK Apple Music too, which is usually more difficult for pop females to breakthrough (at least in the US)

Randomly the UK Apple audience is far more pop and female based! It’s where Kylie, Zara, Jade etc regularly chart songs that get no traction on Spotify. The US though it seems far more rap and make based.

Either way, great result for Lily it seems so far.

I’ve just watched this. I can’t be arsed listening to a new Lily Allen album but I’m here for the drama and love these types of videos. Explain please!

I just gave it a listen after having no real interest, and you know what, it really is quite intriguing. Good for her for smashing it out the park, and shaping up to being a commercial success.

Pussy Palace is her best song since The Fear.

Lily has always been an odd artist for me. The songs of hers that I like most are often in spite of myself. There's something about the idea of her way of singing and her lyricism that puts me off. But she undeniably has delivered some great songs over her career - and my first listen of this felt like it was a collection of some of her best material.

I haven't stopped listening to this album since it came out. Pussy Palace is the one and I hope it continues to grow.
