This is it, even my Instagram is stuffed with this album. It's so out-of-nowhere and she seems to have a lot of goodwill, partly from people who remember that first round of hits well and also from her podcast. But remember, this is the woman who has already had a top 10 hit with a song about what a pain it is when your boyfriend is a crap shag so none of this should be too much of a shock.Amazing to see with no pre-promo or any radio play. I wonder if on Friday R1 and R2 will add? and what track will be pushed. Goes with what has been recently said on here about airplay now noticeably less influential and insta/tiktok really pushing things in terms of promo. This has had great print promo this week too, which in turn transfers to online promo these days
I really, really hope this is what we get. Totally had a similar set up in my head too.OMG I was daydreaming yesterday what she could do live with this album. I imagined a residency at London Palladium (think a Madame X type set with lighting and videos for some of the songs) where its actually set like a stage show, with Lily acting and singing the whole album, and some of the tracks being performance pieces, with a separate actress playing Madeline, and then interludes etc. She would then come out and perform an Encore of her greatest hits, maybe 3 or 4 songs.
Spectacular chart performance and it's nice to see it happening organically. I note there is only one vinyl edition for pre-order on her website too.Pussy Palace made #12, title track #17 and Madeline #19
album in at 4 (and 3 on the streaming only chart)

#8 today and the album is at #4 with a good shot of climbing to #3 (just 100 copies behind)#14 in the first update for the single, but that’s with lots of streaming data missing and 6 Halloween songs ahead, five of which should easily fall behind her.
