I can proudly say that Magnet was ahead of its time, to be honest. You had to really be a music lover. It's just a special piece in her body of work that will forever live on.

seriously, all the other Disney tramps WISH they had a max back cat as strong (albeit small) as Lilo's.

for someone who presumably gave it about 55% at any one time, her brief flirtation with popstardom was pretty HIGH QUALITY. she had good songwriters and a charismatic voice which helped - and I do get the impression she was pretty into it with the second album.

There's an autobiography by Butch Walker whom Lindsay worked with on the second album where he goes on about her awful behaviour, it's almost laughable how much she didn't even try at this point and she was still only 19!
