I actually quite like the slowed down verses. It captures the sexy breathlessness (or maybe that’s Lindsay’s fag ash LUNGS) of the lyrics.

I really love her cover of Edge of Seventeen. :( sorry but I think she approaches it with some vocal CHUTZPAH (oooh!) and there's quite a sense of DRAMA around it. there are moments she sounds fantastic. obviously the chorus could go off a bit more, but she didn't DISGRACE HERSELF! you can't really go wrong with a song THIS SLAMMIN'.

Who Loves You is pleasantly jaunty - weirdly I can imagine it being featured on the current Miley album.

A Beautiful Life (I'm sure I remember it being subtitled La Bella Vita...) is gorge - comes full circle to confessional singer-songwriter territory. it's a really good fit for her.
