Arron Banks? It's like a parade of the worst people in the world.

I guess that started with Blair. Except the Tories hadn't quite yet weaponised Eurosceptism as an electoral tool to manipulate the uneducated.
I should note that York will be Labour and remain tonight.

TBH I fully endorse throwing Corbyn under the bus.

Labour need to draw a hard line under him, or they'll never win trust back again.

If Moopy is a microcosm of progressive political voters then I think we've seen that Corbyn is at the very least divisive.

Yep, Corbyn's done. There's room for an argument about why this has happened and the best way to beat the Tories at the next election. There's no way to argue that Corbyn specifically hasn't failed.

His policies were solid, his problem was the press convinced everyone better living standards and an even distribution of wealth weren’t in the interest of the countries poorest.

Maybe. But there's no realistic way back from that without substantially distancing ourselves from him.

The majority of the country aren't poor though. For better or worse empathy politics hasn't worked.

The majority of the country may not be poor now, but give Johnson time.

I was 24 when the Conservatives got back into government. I'll be 38 the next time there's any realistic chance of a left wing government.

I could weep.

Well, this is a depressing experience. At least by staying up I can channel some generalised sad and angry feelings at the Tories rather than at anything else.

Its a hard stretch to see Labour winning next time. They'd need an astonishing swing for that.

Some of the labour people now are acting towards Corbyn like those friends who comment on the dumping of a boyfriend but didn’t say anything while you were with them

Heidi Allen is talking about poverty and Arron Banks is saying 'you lost'. I can only assume that he is in favour of poverty. THE MASSIVE CUNT.

It's just one more example of the absolute contempt that the right have for anyone who won't vote for them. They've no interest in building a consensus, they just want us all to sit down and shut up.
