Lizzo EVIL?

Fucking love our HR department at my school. Always have done. Sorry if that makes me terribly out of touch with the people. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah basically. :)

But to be honest, if you asked most of our staff they would say our HR dept are incredibly supportive, balanced, fair.
 
Chicago Public Schools has an HR department that will NEVER take the employee's side. Parents are basically gods and the city deliberately buries its people behind layers of automated messages and hundreds of phone options.
 
There’s a filmmaker who was hired to do a documentary about Lizzo who has come out and said she quit due to realising Lizzo was toxic.

I think she’s FINISHED. Her whole image is based on positivity etc and this shows it was just all a lie.

That sounds like something a senior manager would say (so I assume you’re a senior manager) as HR are never any of those things. The head of HR where I used to work once said to me that the only reason individuals work in HR is “because they hate people”

Except they’re merely allegations at this point. Not that that stops people instantly calling for cancellation, guillotining, etc.
 
This story has been HUGE today on every media outlet. It’s probably going to be very difficult to come back from regardless.
 
Trying to get HR input on a TUPE transfer was also HELL but I really shouldn’t go there because PTSD. Talk about AVOIDANT!

It is one of the only other jobs I’ve ever considered doing - and I would do it because I love people…! I want everyone’s voice to be heard and I want everyone to be treated fairly and without HR departments that can’t happen.

And yes I am in senior management.
 
I don’t think I’ve ever come across HR in my current job :shock:

Are you at a state school? I imagine public sector HR is very different to private sector HR
 
Celebrity isn’t nice shocker in industry that notoriously requires you to be a cunt to survive. It’s a cut throat business where they quickly pull the patch for not being hard enough to survive so it’s no surprise someone with narcissistic qualities has prevailed. Next.

It's been a crazy year for female celebs so far: Rosalia, Shakira, Cardi B throwing mics, Madonna nearly being a goner, cult-favorite, niche-artisté, semi-relevant popstar Ava Max and Queen Bebe Rexha being ASSAULTED onstage, Ariana Grande (I swear if I read something about her divorce one more time...), and now Lizzo??

We must protect Taylor and Beyoncé at all costs.

Saying you’d like to work in HR because you love people is a bit like saying you want to work in a glue factory because you love horses.
