I once used boiled water from a kettle. I wasn't ready for the woosh of the stench that hit me, but it did work. Then there was the time I lived by a river (I don't think it was the Clyde, but it's the one by Kilmarnock road Glasgow people). I won't share the details, but basically a ball of wrapped toilet roll was thrown out the window (twice). It was the flatmate who blocked the toilet, not me though. Actually, I think that was all the details.
