Louise - Heavy Love (album)

Three pages :disco:

Louise the saviour of the pop forum

The comeback of ALL COMEBACKS :disco:

Hurt is still a MOR JAM.

That means streaming sales missing. :basil:

They are missing for yesterday, but they were missing for the day before for the chart yesterday - so she's still held when an extra day was accounted for.

I mean she's clearly going to fall as she will be so front loaded with pre-orders, but perhaps streaming won't completely do her in after all...

Mind you, she's £4.99 on Amazon for signed copies :D

SHAMELESS

well I have been spotifying Hurt to death for DAYS on LOOP, so she may not do too bad with streams.

Oh I've been streaming it non stop since Friday. Who on earth would play anything else?

I mean I've had it on mute, but that doesn't stop it counting, does it?

Now that she's got her Adele album out the way, I hope she's encouraged (by internet gay frenzy) to do an album of Nakede and Undivided Loves. The world would not be worthy. Even a 2020 Eternal album would promise more bangers than what's on offer here.

DEADLY

Mind you, they still have signed stocks of Bunton's last 'effort' left, so they must be keen not to overprice her.
I would have been tempted if there was a signed Stretch picture disc included in the package and yes if the picture on the disc was, of course, her stretched anus.

Why are all the comments under the Streeetch* video talking about her abandoning her kids? Has she lost custody ?

(*That would have actually been a more fun spelling I think, a bit like GM's Freeek!)

In fairness to Louise, the album has technically been available to purchase on amazon for 9 months. So no wonder it’s in the sale.

#8 in the midweeks today.

I've not seen sales, but Stormzy is on 7.5k at #5.

I read she did 4.5k on the first update, so I would assume across Mon-Thursday she would likely do a few hundred a day and finish perhaps around 6k?

Either way, she should be somewhere around #10-#12 on the final chart.

I'm waiting for some missing streaming data issue (or more likely, nobody buying it after Wednesday issue) to push her down to #27.

But so far this is holding up better than I ever expected. She must be delighted. Even she was talking down the chart prospects in recent interviews.

I really don't think she's going to fall that hard now. But I guess with sales as low as they are (in general) a few hundred either way can make a significant difference in final position.

Are artists that bothered about their position in the charts and not the amount of copies sold only? I mean, obviously #1 means headlines and more sales, but other than that, who cares other than chart geeks? Specially these days with really poor sales.

Of course most care. Sales are down for everyone so it’s nice to say you’ve one of the 10 best selling records in the country. You only have to see Kylie’s excitement with her recent number one albums to realise that.

But number one is a different story. I undestand it back in the old days when top 10 means zillions of copies sold, but these days nobody follows the charts, and the difference between top 10 or top 20 is just a few hundred albums, so I wouldn't care too much.

I think it's mostly just better publicity to get a top ten than to not.

I can't imagine she'll make much/any profit from pure album sales, but if it helps sell enough tickets for her UK tour to go ahead I'd imagine that's the main victory.

:D She might never make another albam if this flops and doesn’t give her a richly deserved Top 10 smash (weeks on chart - 1). IMAGINE THAT

Did we know that Lou has sold 5 million records in the UK, and 15 million Worldwide (:eyes:) according to her wiki?

WORLDWIDE SUPERSTAR :disco:

She’s doing signings apparently. Get those tens of copies Lil Lou :disco:

It looks like amazon have SOLD OUT of their signed copies :o EAT THAT, BUNTON

Still only a fiver. But then, if it's good enough for Stormzy...

I must say that I’d treasure something like that forever if I’d splashed out as much as FIVE POUNDS :disco:

Some of my friends did say that it was a BIT DEAR but it’ll be going for thousands on eBay this time next year

I didn't realise there's DELUXE version with an ALTERNATIVE COVER PHOTO :o

Still looks like a sex doll for necrophiliacs, mind you.

She's on GMB tomorrow. Then a signing in LAKESIDE. Geru would be proud

I have a friend who is consistently baffled by the Louise comeback to the extent he has a mini rant about it every time I (intentionally) bring her up, and I was going to get him a £5 signed CD to finally send him off to the funny farm but I didn't expect them to SELL OUT. Oh well :(
