The most SHIMMERING DELIGHT from the Confessions album has been given a new lick of paint for the single release. :disco:

It definitely sounds cleaner. Ready for that potential Radio 2 play.

Shame that the extended version still sounds like it is playing behind a closed door:

first time hearing Only Dancer and it's weak compared to Manifesting.

With all the new songs on the Greatest Hits being a cover and this also being a cover Lou is becoming quite the covers fan but I do like it. There are others I prefer on the album though but I hope this gets some sort of attention for her.

This is good and a future single choice just thought they could have carried on with Manifesting for another month or so - for some reason that wasn't playlisted though so maybe that was the reason to move on faster.

It's a pure delight. I think it would be well worth trying to promote it on a TV show and it's not as if the ITV daytime shows wouldnt have her. Tell me, do you feel it too?

Still on the Radio 2 A-List for the fourth consecutive week :disco:

25,000 streams so far. :bruised:

It's funny, it's the first one that I've had casuals mention to me 'I really like that new Louise song'. But I guess it must not be on any Spotify playlists of note. Manifesting did much better (relatively speaking) with no airplay to speak of because it got on a couple of decent lists.

I guess I understand Manifesting being seen as a better playlist fit, and it is a great track, but Only Dancer's KMesque emotopop is so glorious, especially in its more sparkling radio version.

Poor current SINGAL (only dancer still out now, buy it)

Finishing with the Eternal medley and 3 covers doesn’t scream confidence in her own material but I guess I understand it. I just saw the last two tracks and she seemed pretty good. Why did she thank Radio 2 for enabling her to make music? Have the Beeb been secretly funding her with license payers’ money?

Are the sets definitely the complete ones or are they just editing the current tracks out in favour of the hits?

On the iplayer i think we are getting the full live sets?

They are showing SEB replay from earlier now, and her audience was vastly bigger than Lou's :(

It’s streamed live so that was the set.

Also disappointed she didn’t give OD an airing, but for a festival set it felt pretty well judged, and she seemed to win the crowd over by the end.

At least she was on the main stage still. The Fizz looked like they were in a tent that barely held three figures. I thought it seemed odd when they were announced.

Also it feels very typical Louise that her set was interrupted by the Emergency Test Signal :D

Yes I think it was between Manifesting and Only Dancer and she went with Manifesting instead

She was great as per. More of a ‘general public’ set (as far as hers can be), which makes sense given the demographic there. Quite odd to see her when it isn’t mainly Queens, and sadly she probably doesn’t quite have the known back cat for too many plebs to know much, but the covers and Eternal stuff went down well and she was received fine as an early artist.

She has been starting with Lets Go Round Again so thought it was quite brave to start with Confessions giving as you say, the demographic there.
