Where is @steve_uk ? I see she has released a new single today called Stretch. It’s actually NOT BAD on first listen. :o

The chorus hook had me howling. Why does it sound like she's burping?!

Other than that it is obviously the song of the century.

^Haven't yet heard, but am rather intrigued. A bit like Cheryl's last one apparently?

I did see an article earlier that the album is coming...on October 18th?!

Why she'd have a single NOW and an album in 7 months is a bit silly, especially as she said it is completed.

Not quite what I’d have expected given the likes of Bunton and Martine’s latest MOR stuff but, hey it’s different.
 
Yes, it sounds like a Cheryl comeback single. Given that everyone has now forgotten that she tried that and failed already.
 
I can see why it’s being compared with Cheryl, I wouldn’t be surprised if It was a song they were keeping for her before it went a bit tits up. But it reminds me more of Delta’s Think About You

The cover is hideous although thankfully the album cover is much better, but this is WAY better than I think most people expected. I thought she was going to go down the mumsy Martine McCutcheon or Claire Richards route, but I like that she has stayed pretty modern. Won't do a fig but my interest is piqued for the album!

Did we know Clean Bandit are involved in the album as are Raye and Eg White?!

I like it! It's actually kind of what I was expecting. She has to be the most disappointing person I've seen live though.

I actually have a signed Stuck In The Middle With You cd from a signing in HMV Brighton. She had a cold and sniffed her way through a hello. She also asked whether the CDs being sold would count towards the charts :D

I disagree doll - most pop vocals back in her 'prime' were much more paper thin than most pop acts bring out in 2019 (similar to how a CD:UK mimetastic performance was considered good 20 years back and would now be laughed off the telly). I actually think she also sounds somewhat stronger on parts of this than most of her 90's output.

Having just watched the video I must say I think this song is GOOD. The only frustrating thing is when you hear “stretch” at the chorus it sounds really rather perturbing. Other than that it’s a solid 7/10.

It sort of sounds like she was speaking and a burp came out. Other than that is much better than you would expect.

She found a nice looking fellow to drape herself over in the video too. However, no to 'LIL LOU RECORDS'.

It's old warehouses at the back of Yorkhill right next to the Clydeside Expressway. They used to run illegal raves there years ago. @monsta has a club night there. There's different rooms, with different sizes.
 
Yeah, I do not understand the long wait for either. Album in July, tour in October would have made more sense.
