This album is such an album's ALBAM and she was a big masterclass in that realm as a pop artisté but slipped after Confessions and therefore the significance of Madame X as a return to form should not be underestimated.

Crazy is fun and I like her vocal on it (for once on this album) but yeah, it should have probably been relegated to the 'standard' edition and it wasn't needed live.

Come Alive had the live effect on me in that it's ok on the album but on the album with the vibrant colours it was just so beautiful
It really reinforced her message of diversity and multiculturalism which she has been going on about since day 1 (and not it's not appropriation ok hateful gays? Now go somewhere else)

I wouldn't mind if she sang with a bit more JOY. But I'll take it.
I think that is still my main issue with the album. If the vocals were just normal (no one wanted ROL era Vox ok - just normal Vox even like RH era okrrr) then it would have probably been in my top 3 Madonna albums ever. Songwriting is great, lyrics generally good and production is top notch. I am still not sure I buy her official explanation that it was an 'artistic choice' to modify her vocals so much to contrast futuristic sounds with traditional music.
