Nothing to do with being employed by a complete fucking cunt I’m sure :side-eye:

I know it’s old news but I was entirely appalled to see how much remaining tickets for the Palladium shows are. £500 for her grunting, wheezing and staggering round the stage like an arthritic, asthmatic whippet. Mind you, free cash bar and exclusive glossy print of the stage :disco:

I hope she’ll be doing the TRIKE THING again. Everyone loved that and also it will give her a chance to have a well-earned sit down and cheeky pedal after bravely croxing her way through all the hits everyone used to love before they heard them being performed at the Palladium :disco:

A glimpse of the intricate, highly specialised production elements..

I felt really MEAN posting that considering my LOON HERITAGE :shy:

But I meant it in an ENDEARING WAY. Unlike many fanzzzzz I actually REALLY LIKED Tears Of a CLOWN.

I have had a gut full of all her insta posts MOANING about rehearsing for the tour as if it’s all such HARD WORK. Love, you’re charging £400 a ticket!

Darling you can still be a loon and offer a CRITIQUE. I mean look at me and Enya. God knows I love her but she’s still a horrendously bewildered syphilitic closet lesbian with dreadful taste in shoewear who serves up the same old shit again and again :disco:

I’d have a bit of sympathy if the ACTUAL promotion for the album had been anything more than HALF-HEARTED.

Madame X needs to go a year like Kylie’s just done for ‘Golden’ - TV promo, a tour, summer gigs. THEN we’ll talk.

Well if she’s going to get fanz to cough up many ££££££££ for those (unsold) generous deluxe gift set packages including a PHOTO OF THE STAGE :disco: (and free cash bar :disco:), she’s hardly going to want people taking photos for free. I mean HOW DARE THEY!

Just days before the kick off of her highly anticipated ‘Madame X’ tour, Queen of Pop Madonna saw her fans royally disappointed by a mailing they received from Ticketmaster which expressly forbids the use of cell phones during her concerts.

Although the move is one being embraced by a number of artists who feel concertgoers on phones during shows disconnects them from currency, the increased popularity of fan captured footage has also served to the detriment of performers in ways that include decreased demand for tour DVDs or related videoed merchandise, decreased demand for concert ticket purchase, and increased likelihood of mishaps being captured and going viral (i.e. audio fails, slip and fall on stage, etc.).

.
Madge fans are particularly pissed because a number of them could not attend the concert in person due to its limited locations and/or cost. As such, unlike with her previous outings, their absence means they won’t even get to enjoy footage on Youtube or social media. Ouch! Needless to say, they aren’t happy about it.

So what are they gonna do if hundreds of gayz hold their phone up as soon as she starts singing? Surely they can't forbid them to have their mobiles with them.

Imagine all those poor middle aged gays dithering around the aisles not being able to check their seat numbers :(

And they'll have to sit there doing nothing waiting for Madame X, that I assume will be one hour late AT LEAST.

:D

This was almost my first thought. I can't remember things from 30 seconds previous, don't then expect me to remember seats, especially when they combine letters and numbers which is always pure evil.

"Anyone seen using a cellphone during the performance will be escorted out of the venue."

What a joyful experience awaits. Smiling people to be removed too I assume because they will only be laughing at her, those evil fans paying a fortune, not actually having FUN (which is also banned).

Ahem. I always remember Prince banning use of mobiles and it was really just a serious message from the band before the show started, and mostly everyone complied. Anyone who didn’t was warned by security once and then ejected if they ignored the warning. What’s wrong with that approach instead?

Never mind not being able to use Grindr during the boring bits.

Imagine all the twinks at home sulking over where all the daddies have gone! This will send echoes through the entire gay ecosystem.

I’m totally behind a mobile ban, and YouTube footage I’ve had the pleasure to “enjoy” has usually been professionally filmed with a sea of smartphones filming it.

But if you need the phone for the tickets? :D
Is it totally paperless, or is it just that they have to use this particular app IF they want an e-ticket? If there’s no paper option, that’s really insane :D

I guess they need to find a reason for all those Yondr cases, whatever the fuck they are

Also totally behind a mobile ban.

Also, no one gave Kate Bush any shit when she had one.

Kate's fans were trusted not to use their phones out of respect for her, without sealing the phones up. She personally asked people not to use phones and didn't threaten that non-compliance would lead to bring escorted off the premises

I guess the venue is aware that no-one respects poor Madge these days

I imagine a lot of (older, at least) people are also in favour of a mobile ban. But there's a huge difference between an artist asking and forcing everyone to seal up their phones and using technology to prevent them being used.

You’d think that people using their phones might distract her from the sight of all those empty seats :)

It’s a special sort of POUCH :)

Just think of all the time people will have to spend titting around with their poxy pouches when they could be busy topping up poor penniless Madame’s bank account at the free cash bar :(

MISSING A TRICK THERE CUNT

I love this! Technology to jam phone use in every venue next please.

Admittedly I am wholly in favour of this :tongueout:

Actually someone at the Hatari gig told the person in front of them to put their phone down after a brief round of tut tutting and LOOKS :disco:
