Madonna - Confessions II OUT NOW

in the absence of any news, they uploaded the making of Hung Up to youtube - I'd never seen this before but it's a hoot, I think she really had a riot with her dancers in the 00s. she obviously gets a lot of satisfaction from forming a big creative family for tour and in Confessions' case the videos.

 
So the latest rumours are that the first thing will be out in January.

There's something going round about 'golden heart' or 'heart of gold' or something to that effect..
 
There's a terrible rumour going round that
the big sample in the comeback song is "Vogue."

Which I really hope is not true.
 
I feel like she's already done that.

Anyway, as much as I love Vogue, it doesn't quite have the same classic rift as GGG, if that's the callback she's going for.

She has. It very awkwardly and needlessly shoved in the middle of a Rebel Heart bonus track that obviously needed some time to fill. Didn't work at all. I get the impression since Madame X she's putting a lot more quality control and time into her output though so I can't imagine this new one will sound anything like that zenith of the mid 10's.
 
omg I really hope it’s not :shock: It looks eerily similar to Sam’s Club’s own brand, Member’s Mark.

And I always pictured Marge as a total Costco girl 💃

Right so, summary of current rumours:

- D&G perfume advert coming soon with a cover of 'La Bombola' which is not the lead single and may not even be on the album

- First single coming either end of January or 13th Feb

- Rumoured album title Danceteria

- There may be small club gigs

I don’t like the idea of her comeback beginning with some awful commercial collab - she needs to return with a bang not a whimper.
 
Love how blatant she's being about what this album is striving to be - her old friend Maya from The Tamperer must be bursting with pride.
 
As well as the iconic NYC Dancetaria...... there was also a grotty hovel of a gay night in early 90's Manchester that shared the name.

THATS what I associate with the name.
 
apparently there will be some form of press release / announcement type thing on Friday
 
To be fair, I didn't even look at the interview, but I've seen that Confessions quote everywhere in the past 24 hours and presumed it was real...
 
lots of rumours that she shot a video last week on a soundstage in LA. her whole team was there. also some reports from supposedly reliable insiders that she has a collab with Sabrina Carpenter, and another with somebody that hasn't got out yet.
