obviously the spoken parts are quite muffled - I guess intentionally? - but I love the vocal production on the sung parts.

Maybe the muffled parts were recorded while her face was buried in a pillow?

an update from someone on ATRL who's apparently always on the money

The song they were going to release this week was "Free Your Love," but they released it early. The first single comes out prior to the album.

so it sounds like they're probably only gonna put one "single" out and it might not be til June - maybe we'll get other clips or tasters of new music in the meantime.
