Madonna - Confessions II OUT NOW (2 Viewers)

erm what is this 'legendary' perf in TIMES SQUARE?
I assume she is private jetting over to The ONE show for a UK perf soon after?

The overall vibe is fine, but it's sounding pretty weak to me. That "There's nothing that we cannot do" refrain just isn't strong enough. Maybe it'll all click after a few listens though!

It's not weak, it's just a bit fluffy. The basic lyrics don't help.

fuck an LQ clip, I've been burned too many times. waiting for the full song tonight

I mean what we have so far is pretty by the numbers. I think we are past the point of Madonna being the trendsetter in dance music.
I mean there is a middle ground between trendsetter and being generic as fuck.

Oh I must stop saying I MEAN

I do it with the word JUST as well

I don't think any new ground is going to be broken with this album BUT so far it's sounding like the most MADONNA album we've had since the first Confessions. And it's sounding fun too!

Yeah I’ve really enjoyed what we have received so far. I’m not pissing myself on the dance floor but it seems like a good vibe album and light years better than any of the shit on Madame X.

If this was the new Cher song the reaction would be very different. This is not a different kind of love song, but the sensation is glorious. I'm actually relieved it's not just about that surge of dance that's there, but that Madonna herself isn't second fiddle to a sample she's shoehorning a slightly jarring lying to fit into. I think I'll be holding this one in higher regard to Bring Your Love.

I'm hoping the album just happens to be very consistent as I'll agree that so far I'm not hearing the big statement single I was expecting a la Hung Up or Music.

I Feel So Free has endured for me (well, as far as you can say that for a song not yet 2 months old), but Bring Your Love hasn't particuarly. I don't dislike it, but don't feel any real connection with it.

Just realised I couldn't remember what I Feel So Free sounded like.

I Feel So Free is definitely the better record. In a better than 7 but I can't quite bring myself to give it an 8 out of 10 kind of way.

The Cher comparison is perfect. Exactly right!

It says 22:00. Oh well, I'm guessing 23:00.

I'll be casting this. Huge coup for Grindr. To think Xtina thought she was doing the most with KY.

Has a Stuart Price worked on all of these tracks? I'm surprised by the muted reaction on Moopy.

Thank you Grindr for giving me a link as a Gay Guy to watch the Hung Up and Vogue videos... I had never seen them...

I do get the sense that the Grindr collab is approaching a U2 iTunes style irritant
