In an age where people aren't even bothering with videos perhaps it's best to be grateful for what you're given.

Also, pretty much all big pop stars are still making videos? I don’t get this thing about pop videos being a thing of the past. They really aren’t.
 
apparently she's been frustrated that previous videos have been largely ignored (she went all out for Madame X and those got little attention) so I get why she'd do something different. it also means 4 or 5 songs can have visuals on the same budget.

videos don't do the numbers anymore and no popstar is spending their own money on making them. I would LOVE a Danceteria video with an extra setup but if this is it then I'm also good with that

I feel like that's where the most effort went and they must have shot a LOT for it so an edit has to be possible even if its just shenanigans in the toilets and such with her voice over the top.
 
It's just a really saturated market. Videos are easier than ever to make and distribute. Less is more is probably the better way to go?
 
I was trying to work out which gen z celeb Madonna had roped in for this - one of the spare Euphoria cast members? Addison Rae's hairdresser? But it was Lourdes.

Honestly, I'm so satisfied by that and can hardly wait for the full album now. And if she tours it's just an absolute must for me. She's completely invigorated.

Bravo Madge. Not since Keisha busted out a cubicle in the Easy video have I been this determined to create a mortifying scene in a public bathroom.
 
I thought in one little bit I heard Mel B's laugh from Spice Up Your Life - I'd have to go back through the whole thing to find it but I swear it was there.

The easter eggs are pelting left and right. Even (who's) that girl who's gonna play her getting the cameo is just so clever and ahead of schedule.

Only watched it twice, but this is also perfect pre-drinks material too.

I've started putting feelers out for who might want to see her. What an era this is going to be.
 
Well it definitely whetted my appetite for the album.

The Danceteria bit of the video was a rush and One Step Away sounds so good... FREEEE-DAHHHMMMMMM :disco:

I can't say any of the new songs particularly wowed me (Danceteria did sound like the best one I guess) but lovely visuals. She looked 16.:disco:
 
Are we expecting a tour to follow in support of the album? I hope so. She finally did a greatest hits tour and I missed it. ☹️

It really isn't that difficult after you get used to it. Maybe you're using the WRONG THEME.

it kind of is though. you can't really tell at a glance what the numbers next to the topics mean or why they're all different sizes etc. the icons in the notification bar are confusing. and visually it's just... very, very ugly. I need it clean!

I also miss the PJ feature where you'd read a topic and then get automatically notified of replies in that topic for a while. now you have to manually select watch or track topic (what's EVEN THE DIFFERENCE?)

the page scrolling is the worst though. ugh.

Oh that's horrendous. I get that it's going for a minimalist aesthetic but it isn't working for me at all
