So I've finally listened to this and it's OK, not great. It's fine being a buzz track, but I'm hoping the actual lead single is better.
 
Number 4 on the NMF UK Spotify playlist. That should see it get a bit of a boost.

Is this still a 'buzz' single?
 
Was pleasantly surprised when I saw it pop up so high on NMF after midnight last night whilst scrolling. Even gave an internal gay yelp
 
Medellin had the full-on “first single” treatment though, so, in a way, I Feel So Free, in the words of Mindy Grayson, is a flop hit!
 
Given it was only #87 in the midweeks, that’s a fairly good hold. With its NMF placement this week there may be a chance for another week?

Will be interesting to see if the daily streams go up/remain consistent in the second week with the NMF. Also, is she that high up on the US/International lists?

in the first 6 days she was at 2.7m. seems like good numbers to me! if there is a "big single" I am curious about whether it will struggle to do better than this one, without the comeback factor/curiosity streams, but let's see...

Surely the Sabrina track will get some sort of push before the album or the focus track upon album release? I’m hoping her recent relative streaming success translates to the new album. It’s not going to do gangbusters but I hope it sticks around for more than a few weeks on the Billboard 200

She's remained in the Top 100 (midweeks) for a second week, down slightly to 95

Now just a few years ago two weeks hovering around the lower end of the Top 100 would be a colossal flop, but the way the charts are now built around listening and not buying, a new single getting two weeks on the chart has to be considered a hit.
 
It's not easy to crack the singles sharts these days with slow turnovers / Mr Brightsides and Irises refusing to ever leave. There are many hugely successful songs that never ever chart at all.

So I'd say yes anything making the top 100 has to be considered a hit these days. Let alone a new dance record by a 67 year old woman.

I still don't think it's the 13/10 some have claimed. But certainly it's been a reasonable success so far.
 
I'm just glad everybody eventually came around and confessed that it's a 10/10.
 
I'm still confused about that basic ass CALIBRI FONT though. Kinda reminds me of what Charli did with "brat"?

Well yes, not to be scoffed at, and the Sabrina duet surely should get her another 'proper' hit but I quite like the trajectory of I Feel So Free. Its all about the albam really and then the tour - I do hope she can bag another #1 UK album for the records, I think Rebel Heart was #2 so another #1 since 2012 would also be a feat and a headline for Madonna (aged 67 wets pants expose).

well it's the same creative studio behind it so no surprise. they also did Demi and Troye's most recent albums which were really great aesthetically
