To be fair, I hope she comes up with something decent. The "satire" lyrics are just.. they're just an easy way to pass the time. :side-eye:

it feels EXPENSIVE. the beat is lovely.

however the mixing on her vocals in parts is, once again, NOT THE TEA

oh I like this right off the bat. It's quite a weird song structurally - there are two choruses, the one that comes in halfway then repeats later is just a big LOVELY EXPLOSION of summer

It feels very contemporary without sounding trend-chasing or embarrassing, and her vocals are mostly pretty good

8/10 to begin

Her voice doesn’t sound so bad. When you can’t hear her.

The verses are quite BLUNT, however.
 
this feels much older school Madge to me in some ways, despite being very of the moment obviously - the melodies are quite delicious
 
Okay first impression: it feels very contemporary/fresh. I like her bits (minus the singing bits), I don't like his bits. Feels quite chilled and has a nice summery vibe etc.

Initial impression: 7.5/10.
