MADONNA REWATCH PARTY #3: The Confessions Tour - 8PM Friday 24 April (20:00 BST)

I wanted to take part, but my OH was having none of it. I watched some bits after he went to bed and it made me all nostalgic, I saw her in Hannover back then and was a few feet from the stage. It was truly mindblowing.
 
Disappointed I missed this - it was the only Madonna concert I saw live (Chicago). Future Lovers/I Feel Love, Erotica/You Thrill Me, Like a Virgin, Hung Up, were my choice moments.
 
I'm going to rate all the performances (including video/dancer interludes) from the concert now:

I realised with something of a pang of regret that this was the last tour off here I've seen, and I don't imagine that ever changing.

Did she play Cardiff on this tour? I think it was there i saw her.

Yep - she did! One of the few stadium dates so you would have had the two lovely horse images on either side of the stage a la Blond Ambition's naked men :disco:
 
@lolly did you not come with us to see Sticky & Sweet at the same venue in Cardiff in 2008? I'm sure you did? I think that may have been the only time I've met you in fact (!). I know that @Star and @Sheena were there as well. Opening night as well..

That was the time she drove across the stage in a car and I missed it all because I was too short to see :(

I don't THINK so - but I'd trust @Star's memory over mine.

I thought the only time I met you @Suedey was prior to a Robyn gig in London.

Yes that's right! I think I have my wires crossed. Although I think @Epponnee Rae may have been at the S&S gig.

I met @Sheena (albeit super briefly) at the Rebel Heart Tour at the O2 but I'm sure he was with us at Sticky & Sweet in Cardiff as well.
 
Yes, I know you've met Epponnee separately from me, so that must be it. I don't think I did Sticky and Sweet.
 
Actually, Epponnee would probably LOVE these threads. Although being STRANDED in New Zealand, the times won't work for him.
