MADONNA REWIND: "Beautiful Stranger"

[Suedehead]

I mean of course it's a bop but how does it hold up in 2026?

[Halli]

This is good, its kind of forgotten a bit now but I remember how OVERPLAYED and everywhere it was at the time.

[FannyFaudrey]

A deceptively amazing pop song.

[GNL]

This is the first Madonna song I remember coming out and hearing on the radio, and I was OBSESSED.

[FannyFaudrey]

And she is SO naturally stunning and sexy in the video.

[Marina Salty]

It's one of those songs I've never actually thought to myself, "Ooooh, let me put THAT ONE on," but I enjoy it every time it pops up on the radio.

Amazing is Temu Beautiful Stranger.

REDUCTIVE.

[Dark Carnival]

This is without a doubt one of my favourite Madonna songs. Loved it when it came out and I still do now.

I’m still sad they didn’t release a proper single in the US and it only charted from airplay alone. It was HUGE here and could have possibly hit number 1 I think.

[Loufoque]

Absolutely incredible. It makes me so nostalgic.

Oh, those dark times when greedy record companies were sabotaging the chart potential of genuine hits on the hot 100 to maximise album sales. At least Beautiful Stranger smashed globally.

[Jark]

straight up one of her best songs. an absolute treat. that funky ass wobbling bassline have the tiktoklings discovered it yet?

To know you is to be part of you.

Madonna's peak era vocal ability and William Orbit's studio mastery just exuding a luxury of confidence and sheer playful flair.
