So most people were listening because of Sabrina curiosity then. I’m surprised, maybe the radio play will hold it up over the coming days.

To be fair, I was bored after the second listen and haven’t gone back to it 🥴
 
Thanks to having near non-stop headaches/migraines from Thursday to Saturday I still haven't had the courage to listen to this...
 
I like the Madonna talking parts. The chorus basks in the 90s-bursting beats and sample. Sabrina is quite weak and if some kind soul could AI a thick Italian accented actual Sabrina in her place I'd be forever grateful.
 
I really like I Feel So Free, but I can't get into this at all. Feels way more faceless and generic than any other "lead" (and I thought nothing could plumb the depths of Living for Love).

I tried to listen / love this earlier and I’m sorry it’s such a wasted opportunity

There’s a great dance song in there somewhere but the vocals are just awful and the whole execution is lazy and half arsed. It didn’t sound half bad at coachella but I was expecting more oomph from a Stuart Price studio mix

And that stupid Hey Madonna *giggle* at the beginning has made me go RIGHT OFF Sabrina Carpenter
 
And when I say the vocals are awful I’m not even talking Madonna’s aging voice. It’s just all so listless - both of them.
 
I actually find Sabrina's voice way thinner than Madonna's. Although who knows what kind of vocal voodoo either of them is using.
 
I have some INSIDER TEA from POP SQUARE that (after @funky's complaints) A DIFFERENT MIX has been uploaded to streaming services. It sounds 128kbps now instead of 96kbps. :disco:
 
M's vocal mixing is better now. less fuzzy dream. the overall mix of the song is actually quite noisy and ugly though I've decided. nothing has space to breathe

This is LIES. I have the most difference making to the industry, nobody knows the industry like I do. People tell me all the time. So many people say it. My difference making is so good, the best. People wish they made differences the way I do. I will continue to make differences and the differences will be so good. Thank you for your attention to this matter. F
