I think I like the main cover the most, though the black background one is nice

Yeah,

1. Main one
2. Black one
3. This uncomfortable looking new one

Yeah I was looking over that tweet a million times thinking there was something new lol

I believe Joseph is evil.

Genuinely angry at how this new single is so crap not aimed at me

Someone wake me up for the third one

It must be exhausting when you have to spend decades being obsessed with an icon and yet not know how to shake and cry over every small morsel she feeds us

I find it easier and less energy intensive to set my default reaction to "This is a 16/10, à la Triumphant (Get 'Em)"

On a scale of Abracadabra to Oh When The Saints, how for the lambs is this latest track?

Why is her UK Store closed? Been looking for the UK pre-order but it's been down for days

From that article:
Last night, I watched her stride onto the stage at Wembley Stadium for the Capital Summertime Ball, where she performed classics including We Belong Together and Heartbreaker with a pitch-perfect vocal that had lost none of its power over the decades.

question - during the bits of her performances that are lipped, ie a "perfect" rendition of WBT, is the vocal an old studio vocal or something laid down more recently? how does it work? @dUb

I kind of get the sense she updates the lipped versions of things every so often to keep them semi-fresh

Another interesting morsel from the article:

"I don’t know time. I don’t know numbers. I do not acknowledge time – I have a new song that starts with that line…"

I know when I saw her at the Christmas show whatever was live vs not was hard to tell because she was flawless with her lip syncing abilities. It’s all “sounded” live but you never really know with her
