Mariah Carey - The Rarities OUT NOW

Martin Denny (track 9) wrote FIRECRACKER :o aka original Loverboy on the way

...if this is even real

I realise i'm just parroting everything I'm seeing on Popjustice

Although, now that she's embraced Glitter, it could very well be included.

The song she did with Loris Holland is called Mesmerized and is from 2012ish, she did it for The Paperboy soundtrack but they didn’t use it. So that’s one song confirmed.

if this is all real she is really coming through with this project

I want to confess something too, I think the singles from E=MC2 were SHITE ALL AROUND, maybe Touch My Body was a bit of a lol moment but Bye Bye and I Stay in Love are really boring bland crap + some album tracks.
Bye Bye was terrible but I ADORE I Stay In Love! Better single material on the album though. Migrate, Side Effects, etc.

It is shit tbf
I love it :( do you agree with this person on YouTube/are you them

I don't think David Foster did a good job producing this track... Mariah's vocals sound drowned by the orchestra of music. Mariah's vocals need to pulled to the front. He also gave her a generic pop power ballad sound lacking the dynamics a Mariah Carey adult contemporary ballad is supposed to have like "I Don't Wanna Cry" like "Without You" and like with "Anytime You Need A Friend"... Her vocals in "There For Me" sounds muffled and restraint due to poor engineering and or producing. Poor Mariah Carey because David Foster treated Mariah like a foster child in the studio.

I think her voice sounds awful on There For Me - like completely flat in places - and the vocal arrangement is crap.

Out Here On My Own from Fame (1980) Written by Gore & Gore - maybe recorded for Glitter?

Can confirm this is NOT Me. I Am Whatevar. The Pedantic Chanteuse.

The songs she did with him are a bit on the Disney side. Not a great match really.

Loris Holland produced some tracks on Merry Christmas but then YOU PROBABLY KNEW THAT ALREADY.

There For Me SCRAPPED! She must have seen the David Foster doc on Netflix

What do you mean by that? Only ask as I only watched the documentary yesterday...

Sorry, I must read threads before replying. AGAIN. :D

He did come across a bit of a dick, mainly in his personal life, but he sort of recognised that himself.

I am equal parts wet and worried about hearing the original Loverboy (Firecracker Mix)

On the one hand, we have to appreciate the sheer audacity of exposing the root of not being able to know some people

On the other, what if it is as terrible as the released version (although we rate both the Loverboy mixes we have 10+/10), and we have to face the fact that it didn't flop because of the sample issue?
