Oh I never spotted Close My Eyes :o

it’s actually her most underrated song ever IMO. It’s too deep and luscious to have ever been a single, but it’s certainly single quality. Definitely in my Mariah Top 10
 
The original Loverboy will make the rest of 2020 music redundant for me. Just the sheer SCANDAL around it makes it a solid shart-your-undies 24/10.
 
I would love to say that JLO is shaking and crying at the thought but surely a) she doesn't give a shit, b) she probably doesn't remember it and that's because c) either Ashanti or Christina Milian recorded it instead of HER :disco:

Hmm, I kind of feel the opposite. The version we got sounds so much more forceful and bouncy. The Firecracker version sounds cool, but more like a cute remix. Maybe that's just cos I'm so used to the released version though. I like it though!
 
Even from the clip, "Here We Go Around Again" sounds like a timeless pop gem that you've known all your life! What a wonderful song.
 
My main takeaway from the Rarities clips, is that they all sound so strong and not at all "demo-ey". That's what I was most worried about. Hopefully the full songs leave me feeling the same!
 
It's ironic that this album should leak, given that these songs have all been lying around for years.

Anyway, I'm not holding out for 16/10 moments post-Save The Day, which is a cute girl. You might give her a woof on Scruff if you were bored. Which is fine. It's a cast-offs album, after all.

just caught the video playing on the US Open women's final. she looks amazing! simple set-up with the car but i'm here for it. the bit at the end where she puts her face mask on is :disco:

and I thought the song was shot but it sounds good here! (still hate the la la la bit)
 
As for Save The Day, she's a cute girl. I like the la-la-Lauryn bit TBH. It's iconic, in the actual sense of the word. And to hear Mariah do it is kind of amazing.
