She was very animated during her speeches in the last week or so.

I wonder if she has some medication before performances for whatever reason that leads to this functioning but kind of absent state :square:
 
In her defence, lip-syncing at the Opening/Closing Ceremonies is fairly common. Most of the vocals are usually pre-recorded.

She has been heavily medicated since the death of her mother. It's obvious. She is doing the best she can.

“Glitter” has come such a long way. There was a campaign not so long ago where people drove it back up the charts. What are your thoughts on that album now? Do you feel like it’s underrated in your discography? How has your relationship with it changed over time?​

I used to hate it. I used to be so like, why did I do that? And then, you know, it became something that I really loved and it just sort of took on its own thing.

You just put out “Here For It All.” But you’re not one to idle. Are you already recording new music?​

I’m definitely recording new music and I’m very excited about it. And yeah, I’m kind of like always recording new music, but I hope it will do well and people will like it. But yeah, new music.

With the idea of putting together a record?​

I hope she realises Here For it All was so minor and underwhelming it kinda has to be followed up sharpish.
 
In other Mariah misc news, I've been quite enjoying this luminescent homosexual's 90s pop music deep dives in recent weeks. He has quite a lot of Mariah content that lambs might enjoy.

Turns out I’ve basically been channeling Mariah this whole time… just add edibles and suddenly I’m elusive, dramatic, and fully convinced I am the moment while shopping for overpriced groceries in a badly-lit, elitist store. :disco:

 
And you just know she paid all the workers' wages for the day so she could book the whole supermarket for herself (Daydream only to be played).
