No discussion on this one so I decided to make a thread because I need you to all know, this woman is responsible for (in my humble opinion) one of THE best R&B songs of this last decade. You know what? I'll take the hit - it's the best R&B song of the last decade.



Now granted, I'll be the first to admit she's not the best singer, but the genius is in the song-writing which is drenched in melodrama.

Put on that godspeed
like you a godsend
and I'll bask in every single moment
then you'll take me to the peak of your mountain
and you'll tell me to drink from your fountain

Totally agree. It feels slightly uninspired compared to the first two, but still listenable with some good moments.

i agree with you saying she's a good songwriter which she totally is! but the part where she is not the best singer caught me off guard because if you ever listened to reminders, lovesick and so on and so forth she has proven her vocals.
