Morning. Bit gusty here too. By the time I got into the office, I looked like I'd been dragged through The Edge backwards.
 
I slept all afternoon/evening yesterday after a massive roast, went to bed and slept right through until 8 and I'm still fucking knackered.

I actually lol’d at one of her more recent tracks. I thought she was about to sing an unexpected insight into the ageing process:

“I think when you look at my face you get caught up with my age”

But no, thankfully she stayed true to character by following up with

“well, I may be young but I’ve had my time with a broken heart”.
 
Hi Moopy.

I'm on my 1.5 hour bus journey home from work 😬 but it's been made better because I remembered my book.

My life is so wild.
 
Also, most of the ferries have been cancelled half the morning because of the wind 🤦🏻‍♀️

I can't decide if that made my shop busier or quieter.

Ah this post has now got this song stuck in my head.

Which is better than the one I have had all day, I think it's called Bad Hair Day, but the only line I know is "like the back end of a chicken" 😬
 
My nightmare neighbour just doesn't do himself any favours. He's on bail, let out of clink last Monday, and he's not allowed to come within a certain distance of his flat. The tenancy enforcement lady spoke to him last Monday and he promised her that he wouldn't be going anywhere near. I know this because we've all had to submit testimonies about his anti-social behaviour for the last eight years and his court case is next month (the council are trying to evict him) so I spoke to her a lot last week and, now that the case is public record, she was allowed to tell me where he'd been recently and warned me about his bail condition in case he turned up here.

Two cop cars turned up about quarter to six and were driving round the estate in a big circle then went into the flat next door to his flat. They stayed a few minutes then drove off again. Twenty minutes later they were back, went into the other flat and stayed about forty-five minutes then went away again. I heard a bit of a ruckus outside about 7pm so I looked through the window and the two cop cars were back along with a cop van. Two massive rozzers escorted him out of his flat and stuck him in the van. Hopefully they'll keep him inside until his trial date now.

I do love being a curtain-twitcher. :D

I assume a bail hostel. I didn't ask her where he would be staying because I didn't think she'd be allowed to say and I also don't care where he is as long as he isn't near my house :D

Any sympathy I had for him ran out about six years ago when I realised he was a manipulative, woman-hating little scrotum so I avoided him after that. He also avoided me because he knew I'd happily paste seven colours out of him and do time for it if he started crap with me (because I'd told him as much).
