That shit doesn't work for me. I'm almost incapable of listening to a more than 1/2 songs before an album. I just want to DEVOUR the WHOLE FUCKING THING.
 
Does it matter? The album is out in SIX months.
 
The video for Froot is out, basic but she's very sexy.

i like that it's unexpected. there are some gorgeous shots and she looks proper gorge. the editing of the song feels a bit weird but it was to be expected. all in all i'm happy, i just hope the fact it's a bit boring for the people who hit the like button in 2014 doesn't hurt its hit potential.

Same here :( I sort of wish she'd held back everything until about February (even if it meant us not hearing the song til then), because the wait will be totally interminable.

The video's gorgeous, but I have to echo the comments about how the song's been edited - the chorus just feels SO abrupt without anything to lead into it.
 
Stupid song title, MARVELLOUS song...I love it already!

Though, as someone earlier said so importantly, I still can't get over the waste of "How To Be A Heartbreaker" in this country.

A bit of an odd album opener but i love it. Only four more months to go.....
 
Oh that's lovely, but her voice sounds a bit off on it
 
Is it because of the preorders or is there genuine interest in the song?
 
'Happy' is lovely. Particularly the first part. Her voice is perfect. Less impressed as it goes on and becomes inspirational.

i would've prefered something uptempo but it's nice, it's very her. i like when she does this theme.

I do like it though, the video works fine with the song, and she looks nice. OK it is cheap but it isn't a proper single as such (is it?), not that I'm entirely sure that there will be one in this quite bemusing album campaign.
 
she finally seems to be making music with some purpose and meaning as opposed to purely for the sake of it and it suits her.
 
i'm completely obsessed with immortal. i know the lyrics should be a bit iffy but i don't mind them at all and the way she sings it (the softness, the restraint, the bits where she goes a bit deep and ott) is absolutely brilliant.

i just can't handle it.

Yeah not sure about this one. However I thought Happy and Immortal were rubbish and I can't stop listening now.
I'm still waiting for something more upbeat though.

in summary:

-for anybody wondering why the album is spelt 'froot' it is because she wanted to appear "playful" (what were fans assuming beforehand?)

-she starts a world tour in october (i'm sure there will be ldn/uk dates beforehand)

-upbeat tunes are: 'blue', 'better than that' and 'forget'

- probably most interestingly, she's written the entire album on her own
 
Froot played at a Chicago club last night and the gays all lost their shit, me included. It's surprisingly easy to dance to
 
Somehow the new single is at #2 on US itunes! It will bomb down of course, but at least it's a sign the album is getting some good pre orders.
 
"Froot" has only just clicked with me. It's magnificent.
 
This has overtaken Froot for me. It's exquisite.

Why anyone would willingly sit through 27 minutes of Marina talking to a webcam is beyond me.
