Marina - Princess of Power + UK tour

I was there last week as well, it was good but it's quite telling that the largest crowd reaction of the night was the one time she sang a song that wasn't her own. From the crowd it felt that everyone has their own favourite era/album of hers, so maybe it's just that Hung Up unified everyone. There were various around me who seemed obsessed with all the POP stuff and less interested in the older ones (personally I'd have loved more from Electra Heart).

Everybody Knows I’m Sad is my favourite track from the current album too.

I loved the debut and Froot. Quite liked the second album, was bored by Love + Fear, didn’t bother with Ancient Dreams… and really enjoyed the latest - should anyone care about my Marina discography synopsis.

I was surprised but pleased at Froot getting an amazing reaction in Manchester !
Was my first time seeing her live and wow at those vocals !

I feel the quality of her music has improved massively since Love & Fear. Give them another go!
 
Ancient Dreams has some real bangers. the title track is incredible. Man's World also plays like a Marina classic on tour now, I was shocked at the love it got. Goodbye is one of her best ballads, maybe her best.
