Only eat the breakfast there (although I get a daily coffee on the way to work) on a rare occasion.
Burger King does better burgers.

the breakfast thing goes over my head. it's rotten.

I like their spicy veggie burgers and did like their chicken premiers until they cut the salsa option. I haven't been in forever tho.

The last McDonald's I ever had was in 2003 in Zagreb.

I had it a few times before then, even made a bit of a habit of it, but decided to give up. Even the smell of it these days makes me feel sick.

I had a breakfast on a stag do in Prague in November because I went with the majority but I literally ate about a quarter before throwing it away- absolutely inedible. I don’t get the breakfast love at all...

I also don't get the love for their breakfasts. They're just so salty and stodgy.

A double cheeseburger is always good to quickly fill your stomach. I know the meat is shite but I love the sauce. Burger King is nicer but I never go there because the service is always slow and the prices are ridiculous. If I want to pay £7 for a burger meal I'll go to Five Guys.

I’m another one that doesn’t get the breakfast. I love the main menu.

I always think Burger King is overpriced as well. But can you really get a meal in Five Guys for £7?

I do love a McDonald's breakfast bagel. And a breakfast wrap. I agree with them being salty, but Mr L tells me I tend to overdo the salt when I'm cooking anyway.

Naturally he can fuck off until he starts cooking himself.

No, but I always get the Little Hamburger for £5.95. The chips are nicer and HUGE portions so you can share with a friend, and re-fillable drinks (which you do admittedly get in BK). The fact that you can have all the toppings for no extra money whereas BK will charge you £2 extra just to have their undercooked bacon. The few extra quid in it is worth it.

The breakfasts in Japan are vile, something called the McGriddle or something like that, it’s like a McMuffin, but the meat inside is really salty and the bun is really sweet.

But generally I like McDonalds, it just takes the fall for all junk food because it’s the biggest target. I rarely eat on a weekday, I think it gives me a bad stomach in a way Burger King (reasonable and nice chips in Japan) doesn’t.

McDonald’s has all sorts of seasonal specials in Japan too, much better than the tired-ass showgirl American burgers or whatever in the UK.

I’m PRO. But I have to resist a lot

Fast food CHIP RANK:

1. Burger King (crunchy and usually on the drier side)
2. McDonald's (sometimes alright but often too soggy and floppy)
3. KFC (disgusting slop)

KFC’s chips are terrible...

...but I loved the flavour of the Festive Fries recently!

I was going to say, how on earth can you get a "meal" in Five Guys for 7 quid? :D We went not so long ago and 2 burgers, fries and drinks (I had water) was basically 30 quid.

It was MORE than enough however and infinitely more delicious than the rest mentioned put together.

As for McDonalds, well it does a job doesn't it but I always get stupidly excited come Monopoly season, until I realize by the end of it I've only been in about twice when it's on.

I haven’t been there since Five Guys opened in Paris but it’s definitely not the same price range as McDonald’s and BK.

We've just got a Five Guys. Yeah it tastes good, but the prices are fucking disgusting and it's like eating in a launderette.

There's a couple of FAR BETTER local burger vendors.

Just get the "little" burgers in Five Guys. It's not a child's portion, it just means one burger inside the bun instead of two.

It's over £20, which is way too much for a shitty fast food branch.

I've never eaten in our Five Guys. I walked in, thought it was horribly overpriced, and had all the atmosphere of an airport departure lounge. And the clientele looked like a shower of cunts.

Some of us are in relationships. PM me for more info.
Does Mr. Ag not pay for his own meals? I've never s=been in there alone either so we tend to share fries.

Anyway, we only really go in for convenience due to the location.

Regardless of who paid, our monies go towards the same joint goals and it's an expense too far for what it is.

'Little' burger and share fries?

That's not how REAL MEN eat

It is massively overpriced given it still presents itself as a fast food chain effectively. I mean you are eating out of PAPER...

I doubt I'll go again any time soon and to be fair we were hungry and that was the nearest place but it is undeniably good.

I think I only mentioned it because despite being overpriced, you still get more for your money there compared to Burger King.

That's pretty much it. 4 99p cheeseburgers stuffed in before we're out of the drivethrough and we're DONE

But you get all the peanuts you can eat.

I put five guys burgers above some more upscale-ish burger places like Applebees and Chillis.

never heard of Five Guys. naturally we have our own overpriced joints here. I’m tired of this current fad with meat in buns, every other place opening is a burger place

the steak tartare trend is much more my thing :disco:

-Iced and regular coffee
-mcnuggets
-apple pie
-fries/chips

i love these things from them. oh and an OREO McFlurry when the machine is working, ha
a McFlurry is best on its own, no bits, no toppings!

I went for a piss in Five Guys the other week, it looked wank, expensive, and all the reviews that made up the artwork were from the last decade.
