After a few more listens I’m willing to upgrade this to 7

I don't know whether to be concerned that really it's the ONLY bit that has managed to get stuck for me.

7. I’m in agreement with whoever said that it sounds much better on headphones. I really like the production, the 1-2 bits and the vocal in the verses (:shock:) but I listened to it through the speakers earlier and didn’t exactly feel the urge to cha cha cha
 
I quite like it. On a Madonna single-scale, I'd give it a "Human Nature" right now.

I'd be inclined to downgrade slightly to a 7 now, I think. Or perhaps a generous 7.5.

And I mean 3 relative to other Madonna singles, not 3/10, OBVS

I must say that I’m quite fancying doing one now. I shall however have to invest serious consideration into the matter
 
I've never heard of a single scale. This is all very Jark whatwith inventing new ways to rank.

This is quite difficult as there aren’t that many MIDDLING ones. I’ve had a saunter through the discography and she seems to serve up either fabulous or disgusting, at least from the vantage point of MISS BINARY here :side-eye:

I've actually had a complete U-turn on this. First listen really did nothing, now I'm with the rest of you. One of her best for years.

When it comes to the Madonna singles scale 0 or 1 would obviously be reserved for nothing else but Turn Up The Radio.
 
Interestingly my parents, in their late 60s, LOVE Medellin. My mum says she's going to be blasting it on her Alexa all summer.
