How did a film with such a huge budget manage to look so cheap?

I went midweek, there were 10 people in the cinema and by the end there were only two of us. We both agreed it was dreadful, and felt like it was written by ChatGPT.

Shia LaBeouf was hysterically funny though, and the sex scene and dialogue throughout was catastrophic. A generous 3 for laughs.
