Anyways, I still want Sanna to win, if for no other reason, that she DESERVES it.

I actually cannot get enough of Hero. :o I'm listening to the other entries BEGRUDGINGLY at best! :D

i don't really like "Empty Room" as a song, if I'm completley honest. The "I can't walk through a park" line always makes me laugh and groan, and the melody is nothing we haven't heard before.

Saying this, she performs it so well and I agree that 5 times and you start to think "oh just let her have it this once"
 
And no, I've never moved past the fact that that Perelli creature beat Doris, Surpriz and poor brave Selma in 1999.

It's the same with Carola and me.
 
I think the way the press are building Charlotte will work wonders. This may not be a '25 years since 'Framling' scenario but they're doing the same for Charlotte as they did for Carola.
 
The chorus for Linda's song is FUCKING AMAZING, the verses MUCH LESS SO but I reckon that it'll work much better in a live context and I BET YOU it's a grower...I can feel that already
 
Linda's the best for me by a MILE from those clips. Charlotte is good, but there's something a little too formulaic just now, it doesn't feel as epic as it should and the verses are a bit dull. I daresay a key change and the performance will spice things up a bit.

YES, I agree with Christian. It's GOOD but it's absolutely not AMAZING because it's formulaic. BUT I absolutely agree- this is clearly the opening verse and chorus and by the end with keychanges and synths going SPASTIC and fireworks and...oh my god, I've converted myself already

My reaction to Charlotte was initially a little disappointed compared to Linda, which probably wasn't strictly fair as I've had Hur Svårt Kan Det Va's chorus in my head ALL WEEK. I do see the Kalla natter comparison, which incidentally I only quite liked at the time. I remember being much more obsessed with Folcker's effort that week. How things change...

I agree that Linda's verse doesn't seem quite as strong as the chorus, but like Charlotte's I guess it is the opening verse, and these things are all about the BUILD. :disco:

Overall, I'm sticking by Linda for the moment.

Niklas sounds VERY MUCH like You're No Good in parts. I agree Sibel is a bit too much, but they went for that Finer woman last year, so she's got to be up there. Seems like it will be a great heat.
 
Well I want to love Linda going on past glories, but to be honest I don't. I think it sounds quite joyless and a bit horrid. Hopefully the full song will be better

However Charlotte is really berry good. I like the lyrics and the use of minor key. I love virtually any song in the minor key anyway and it works to the songs advantage here. I want this to win now, hopefully she will be able to do the performance perfect

i am so glad "Hero" is in the last heat. Imagine having to wait FIVE WEEKS for an mp3 of the completed studio song to surface...now we should realistically only have to wait a week or so...
 
Charlotte sounds too FABULOUS! I love it! It must win.

Linda sounded exactly as I expected, like a cheap rip off.

Would it be fair to say that Calaisa, Daniel and Fronda are out in the first round then?

The other 5 surely have bigger fanbases/have a greater appeal. Sibel has the ballad vote. So she is A.C at the very least.
 
The mid-part of the Heat (3-6) really is strong.

And i would love for 'Pame' to go through. But i have no idea at whose expense.

I'm not that mad on Daniel's voice. It's a bit showy/OTT, I can't really put my finger on it, but it's putting me off the song somewhat.

I'd like:

AC - Daniel

The more I listen to the songs I'm worrying about Nordman and Sibel giving Linda troubles. Neither are my thing, but I can see how they'd appeal.

Charlotte's song is very good, but LINDA's - WOW!!! That chorus is just FRANTIC and so immediate (but not so to make it so you'd get sick of it after two listens!). Like Daniel too.
 
It's looking like enough people are picking either Linda or Charlotte to ensure both go through, at least to AC, with one going DTG.
